Nkwobi Night
My brother organised a Nkwobi night at Z'bra Lounge (Deptford) for us to catch up with each other as everyone's been busy and we hadn't all been together since Nedu's birthday in January. Not everyone could make it but it was laughter and banter all evening.
Started off with the classic traditional cocktail; palm wine and Guinness.
Nedster joined us. After a few bottles and an hour later, we got our food.
My main was the Isi Ewu, a spicy Nigerian food made with a goat's head, complete with its eyes, tongue and teeth. Y-U-M.

Then Nsisa, which is made from shredded cassava. Also popularly known as Abacha.
I had some peppered snail and Nkwobi to take away.
Laura got the yam pottage, plantain and stewed beef
Von got the grilled fish with plantain and was amazed at the size of the fish.
The rest of the guys went for the Nkwobi with Ugba

It was such a pleasant evening. I had too much to eat and dozed off in the taxi.
