If you visit Copenhagen, which I strongly suggest you should, here are some places and things I think you will enjoy.

Christiania

Christiania is an 84-acre self-governing free town - hippies commune if you will - bang in the middle of Copenhagen. There are bars, cafes, concert stage, skateboard park, museum, art galleries and even a recording studio for the 900 or so residents. The main draw though is the infamous "Pusher Street", the biggest hash market in the world selling 30 to 40 varieties of cannabis round the clock.

The town is vibrant and edgy, has its own currency, flag and even a sign at the entrance reads "You Are Now Leaving The EU". There is also a big sign saying cameras are not allowed as they get raided once in a while.

On a lovely summer day i'll love to be back here, dancing to a live band while catching the sunset across the lake.

Rundetårn

The 17th century tower and observatory, the oldest in Europe, offers amazing panoramic views of the city.

Strøget and Nyhavn

Strøget is one Europe's longest pedestrian streets with lots of food and shops. Nyhavn, a former port, is made for post cards. We enjoyed walking through the streets, drinking Julegløgg.

Copenhagen Street Food

Across the river from Nyhavn, right next to Christiania is this amazing street food market similar to the Time Out market in Lisbon. Copenhagen Street Food has 35 stalls, containers and trucks selling meals between 50-75 DKK.

We had the oddest clubbing experience at Rosie McGees. Still can't put it in words but I laughed till my belly hurt.

I think the air in Copenhagen added a decade or two to my life. It was crisp and I walked so i could enjoy breathing the air. Amazing!

After three lovely days we hopped on a Netbuss for the 50 minute trip to Malmo through the spectacular Øresund Bridge.
