It was our second night in Trinidad, we were quiet and taking in the whole vibe of the town as we slowly made our way to Casa de la Musica. We found a table right in the middle of the action and I ordered some food and mojitos. I remember the lead singer of the band as we saw him in a random bar we stumbled into the following day. The passion in his voice as he belted out this song stirred something in me but I didn't get up to dance. I sat quietly and committed the entire moment to memory, praying to never forget how it all felt. I had no phones, no cameras, just my memory. It wasn't until months later that I found out the song is Cambio del Piel by Marc Anthony who I absolutely adore. This song (and the video) takes me back to that night in Trinidad, to eventually dancing without a care in the world, and the days that followed.
