Jul 10 A Weekend In The Cotswold

The Cotswolds, designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty over fifty years ago, is filled with rolling hills, picturesque landscape and some of the most beautiful sleepy villages in England. Being only two hours away from London, it makes for a hassle-free and quick getaway when you crave time away from the big city.

Earlier this year during the winter, Ange and I picked a stable house in Chastleton as our base for the weekend because we wanted to do some riding and also the closest station served the other towns we wanted to visit. Our weekend was all about lazy breakfasts, hacks, walks, taking in the history of past wars and stunning sunsets.
